Who's this guy?
I started being a creator when I realized that I did not have to sit around and wait to be taught, but rather that I could do it on my own. There is absolutely no reason to have to wait to learn. If you truly want to know how to do something, do it. Buy those books. Watch those videos. Read that blog. It shouldn’t matter what you are going through. It shouldn’t matter how much time you have. Go for it. And I’ll help you along the way.
What brings me Here?
At a rather young age... I never understood the idea behind waiting to be taught something that you wanted to learn. It seemed very simple to go online and start to search for answers. I later found out that, at the time, it wasn’t completely normal. I began to do things that no other people my age were doing. I was posting videos to YouTube, editing montages, making commentaries, and starting to develop a web presence. (in the faintest idea of the word)
A few years later…I began to really dive into the things that I am passionate about now. I got a better camera. I started to learn about editing. I made videos with more substance than a gaming montage. I started to download programs so that I could learn how to work in a more industry standard way.
And now I… do a lot of things. I am starting a media company. I am a softball instructor and coach. I play golf several times a week. I play hockey. I am a graphic designer. I am a full time student. I go snowboarding as much as I can. I am teaching myself how to do numerous online tasks; web advertising, design, graphic design, motion graphic creation, and much more. I have started this blog.
The biggest thing that I hope to achieve by writing this blog is to inspire others to keep fighting for their goals. There is no limit to where this blog will go. I have learned so many career lessons through activities that I would never have thought would apply. Being a coach has taught me how to lead, and be led. Golfing has taught me to be independent, and figure things out for myself. Researching and discovery has taught me how to teach myself skills, and to apply those skills into my other passions. There is no reason to not follow your dreams and goals, and I hope I can encourage you to do the same.
